How is this unit operated?

  1. Insert AAA batteries (not included).
  2. Hold the device between 3-5cm from the center of the forehead area.
  3. For the most accurate results, we recommend taking multiple readings to determine normal temperature.
  4. See a healthcare provider if you have a fever for more than 3 days, are not eating or drinking well, are feeling lethargic, or experience signs of another illness (rash, cough, vomiting, etc).

What is a normal temperature reading?

The average normal temperature is 98.6ºF / 37ºC. A forehead (temporal) scanner can be 0.5ºF-1ºF (0.3ºC-0.6ºC) lower. Be sure to follow the instructions to obtain an accurate temperature.
